One of my bosses gave me a quote from Theodore Roosevelt in a frame—that famous one about being brave and getting bloody and sweaty in the arena. Thirty plus years in education and a lifelong practice of reading and writing has taught me there are different ways to be brave, and you don’t have to get bloody and sweaty. I am listening to poets for wisdom now about bravery, not presidents. Join me in exploring leadership lessons and themes using creative reading and writing practices.
